Poorly written contemporary romance anthology. To be truthful, these 3 stories are more like fan fic romance. Unbelievable that someone would actually publish this. This was a reread for me - shoved in the back of my bookshelf. I couldn't remember the plots to any of the stories, so it was like a brand new read.

Janice Maynard - 1 star. Geez where to start? A high class hotel that doesn't advertise so only those who can afford it can enjoy it. Turns out to be nothing but suites of rooms where you can live out sexual fantasies. Yawn.
The 34 year old male lead is an a**hole. The female lead is submissive, then completely out of character spunky.
The male lead has never had a relationship with a woman. Ever. He has one night stands that maybe last a few days after. He also has a voracious sexual appetite, so he's been with literally hundreds of women. We're supposed to swallow that he falls for the female lead (love at first sight). She's nothing special as far as the author has written her. They have sex. UNPROTECTED SEX! He's a man whore & she doesn't even insist on a condom. Nor is there any discussion of birth control or SCDs. Authors that write contemporary romance have an obligation to their readers to promote safe sex. Period.
Oh. The other bit of wisdom the author imparts is that good sex means that your man is in love with you. The male lead actually says this to the female lead. Whatever.

Morgan Leigh - 1 star. Who is ML? I can't find that she's written anything but maybe 3 or 4 anthologies. She doesn't write them well, so maybe that's why she dropped off the face of the earth.
This is the 1st of the "Lawyer's In Love" trilogy. Don't bother trying to find the 3rd story, cause apparently the publishers dropped her before it could be published. This story is definitely better than the 2nd, but that's not saying much. Exemplary female secretary falls in love with her lawyer boss because his voice causes her to almost orgasm every time she hears it. She affects him too & they have great phone sex.
When they do finally have actual sex it is protected. The story drags on & on as contrivance after contrivance occurs.
They literally are involved for less than 48 hours & it's "I love you marry me". Right.

Luann McLane - 1 star. Protected sex. I actually thought this author had a little something more than the other 2. Too bad this story is so contrived.
Unbelievable story about a YA inspirational author who writes erotica on the side. I'll tell ya what. If THAT ever got out her YA career would be over in a heart beat.
So a total stranger shows up at her remote cabin in the woods in an ice storm (haven't heard THIS before!). Within 5 minutes he's stripping (let's get you out of those wet clothes trope). They almost do it, then she falls asleep during. HUH? Turns out she's drunk. What a turn on. Turns out the stranger is her previously never seen before agent (right).
At the end the male/female leads agree they love each other, but there's no marriage proposal. So, much more realistic.

Save your money.
